Pardon My Mess

I have attempted, without the help of any graphic designers, to tweak my blog. Mostly I was trying to add a bookshelf dealie (which now that I see it looks kind of clunky) and had to do some type of upgrade in order to accomplish that. I really have no idea what I have done, so if this looks quite odd, please pardon my mess. I'm sure there is a graphic designer in the neighborhood who can help me out if need be.
