The Desiring God article was profoundly moving. Thanks for posting it.
You know, I read a description once of this procedure few years ago, before I had children, and I thought it was a horror then. I am sitting here struck as to how much more that horror permeates me now, having had the wonderful experience of children of my own.
But perhaps what is even more terrifying to me is that the people advocating this know exactly what they are doing, and if they have no empathy for this baby, full of life's potential, how can we expect to be treated when we are old, and emptied of life's potential?
